Behavioral Health Dashboard
“Behavioral Health” is the preferred term for a person’s overall mental well-being, and can include addiction, depression, anxiety, stress, mood disorders, or other psychological concerns. A person’s behavioral health has a large ripple effect on their daily life, family, friends, and the community. Someone who is consistently struggling with behavioral health often times finds themselves involved in the criminal justice system or other governmental systems.
Just like physical health, recovery for behavioral health is possible and may require medication or therapy and has trained providers ready to help.
Updates:
All data gets updated quarterly following the Federal Grant Fiscal Year or as it becomes available.
OD Map data comes directly from law enforcement calls for service and is reliant on how dispatch and officers/deputies may label calls or reports.
Dashboard Definitions:
FY= Federal Grant Fiscal Year: October 1st-September 30th
Q1= Federal Quarter One: October 1st-December 31st
Q2= Federal Quarter Two: January 1st-March 31st
Q3= Federal Quarter Three: April 1st-June 30th
Q4= Federal Quarter Four: July 1st-September 30th

Community
Community data is collected through partnerships with local government agencies, healthcare organizations, nonprofits and other systems of care. Multiple data requests, Memorandums of Agreements, and Business Associate Agreements are in place in order to collect and house this data appropriately and safely.

Programmatic Data is collected through our COAR Client Management System (CCMS), which was built in 2021. Any data collected prior was inputted into the CCMS using past notes and documents.

Boone County Community Outreach Officer Referrals by Category
The Community Outreach Officer recieves referrals from local law enforcement, including Belvidere Police Department and Boone County Sheriff’s Department, when they come in contact with individuals through daily patrols that need behavioral health support. The Outreach Officer then works with the rest of the COAR Team to provide services to the individual and/or family.
